Each year, the Dirt n Dust stage is graced with some of the best home-grown Aussie talent from across the country, plus a few International Artists!

From the greats to the up-and-comers, the Dirt n Dust stage has seen a wide variety of musical talent – Troy Cassar-Daley, Mick Lindsay, Victoria Baillie, Luke Dickens, Nashville’s Jer Gregg, Lance Friend, Missy Lancaster and James Blundell… and that’s just in recent years! Our stage has housed not only plenty of well established big name acts, but has also given a spotlight to many up and coming artists.

Every year the Friday Night Concert is a chance for Festival-goers to let their hair down and soak up the spirit of the Outback, ahead of a huge jam-packed weekend. 

The Live Entertainment is backed up again on Saturday Night after the Dirt n Dust PBR Bullride from 9.30PM.

There are numerous opportunities to perform across the weekend including two nights of live music on Friday and Saturday, entertainment at the exclusive Country Tastes Luncheon on Saturday and roving entertainment opportunities during the South32 Dirt n Dust Triathlon.


2019 Music Lineup Announced!

Hurricane Fall

Hurricane Fall has grown into one of the hottest new acts in country, bringing a mix of their original material and classic-country in a high-energy, in-your-face modern country show. Their growing legion of die-hard fans has seen demand for the band on the Rodeo, B & S and event circuits Already this year the band has opened for Billy Ray Cyrus in QLD, Put together their own tour the 2018 Wellington Boot race, PBR events include Cairns Casino and the Global PBR event in Sydney Great Northern Country Cessnock. Groundwater CM Festival at Broadbeach, they also featured at Hats off to Country Tamworth 2018 drawing huge crowds.


Bareback with Luke Geiger have played many gigs which include Race days, Rodeos & Camp-drafts, QME, Weddings, Festive Season & Corporate Events, Local Government Milestones and has been fortunate enough to support such iconic bands as Evermore, The Black Sorrows and ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Mental as Anything.

Tayla Mae

Tayla Mae was brought up in a musical family singing with her sisters in Toowoomba, Queensland. With an R&B/pop sound inspired by P!nk, she has received a huge amount of success with her cover videos from her ever-growing online audience. She just recently signed a deal with Sony Music and she is working diligently on her new album which is due to be released in 2019. 

Back N Business

Back'n'Business is a good time covers Band that loves to Rock the house. The Band is based in Toowoomba Qld and has been together since 1997, they have performed at the Birdsville races and have supported the likes of Paul Kelly and Troy Cassar-Daley.


"Josie" is an up and coming performer in Australia's country music scene. She began singing and writing her own songs from about the age of 7, performing for family and friends in backyards and lounge-rooms, competing in school talent competitions and showcases. In July 2018 she graduated the CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music and she most recently opened for Troy Cassar-Daley, The McClymonts, Judah Kelly and Homegrown, in her hometown for the Townsville Rock Fest. At only 16, she is constantly working on developing her song-craft and guitar playing skills, so keep an eye out and watch this space!
